Premier Kiviet makes a bold prediction
Eastern Cape Premier Ms Noxolo Kiviet has this morning put her head on the block and done what many soccer enthusiasts avoid to do, that is predicting the outcome of the match. Premier Kiviet told SABC Radio Station Umhlobo Wenene that Bafana Bafana will beat Mexico 3-1 at the iconic Soccer City Stadium this afternoon.
“We have never been cowards in this country and our boys will make us proud this afternoon by beating Mexico. We have come a long way in terms of preparing for this tournament and we have excelled in every respect,” said Premier Kiviet.
Premier Kiviet said the people of the Province will benefit a lot from the hosting of the World Cup event.
“The Stadiums that have been built and the roads that have been constructed will not be demolished after the World Cup. They will remain in this country and be utilized by generations to come. FIFA also has many other inititiatives, like 1 Goal which is an educational project aimed at helping especailly the disadvantaged children of our Nation,” Premier Kiviet said.
