High ranking Political Principals will on Friday, 23 April 2010 lead a “Walk for Haiti “ Campaign by government officials. The walk will start at 12h30 from the Office of the Premier Building to Bhisho Stadium. All participants are expected to contribute to the Haiti Relief Fund on the day, by buying a ‘Support Haiti’ Campaign sticker costing R10.Subsequent to that; the Freedom Day celebrations which will be held in Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela Bay, on Tuesday 27 April 2010 at Finnis Sports Complex in Bethelsdorp will be preceded by a 5 km walk in support of the Haiti Campaign. The walk will commence at 8h00 am; from Bethelsdorp Spar to Finnis Sports Complex.The media is invited.
